An Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) provides services for
patients with acute and/or chronic problems who are in need of
short term treatment.

Relapse prevention, coping skills,
and anger management are important
features of the IOP program.
OPTIMA's''' Intensive Outpatient Services is a
high-level of psychotherapeutic services that
serves as a step-down to Inpatient Hospitalization.
In the past, people who experienced persistent
mental health symptoms that significantly
impaired their ability to function at home and at
work often found themselves in the hospital. The
addition of OSH's''' Intensive Outpatient
Program (IOP) offers patients the opportunity to
address serious, persistent mental and emotional
disorders that go beyond routine outpatient
therapy while remaining in their home setting.
Eligible patients are those who exhibit acute
symptoms of depression, anxiety and/or any
other debilitating psychiatric disorder that would
otherwise require hospitalization.
Directed by Master's level clinical professionals
with consultations from a Board Certified
Psychiatrist, The OPTIMA  IOP offers a menu
of psychotherapeutic services developed to treat
the patients' individual needs.

services is available to respond promptly to calls, and walk-in inquiries. A
Needs Assessment and Referral counselor will help to identify presenting
problems  without a cost to the patient. Upon completion of the assessment, a
consultation with a physician will assist us in matching the patient needs to the
appropriate level of care. Referrals to our program can be made by any
physician, health professional, social service agency, family member or by the
